Purchase Policy

This Purchase Policy explains how ticket purchases are processed on the Garmon platform and forms an integral part of the Terms of Use. By purchasing tickets through the Garmon website or mobile applications (collectively, the “Site”), you agree to this Purchase Policy.

1. Currency

All ticket prices for events taking place within the European Union are displayed in Euros (EUR).

2. Payment Methods

We accept multiple payment methods, which may include, among others:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • Other payment methods made available from time to time through regulated payment service providers

Available payment methods may vary depending on the country, event, or payment provider.

3. Who You Are Buying From

Garmon operates as an online marketplace and intermediary platform.

  • Tickets are sold by the Event Organizer (including artists, venues, promoters, or other event producers).
  • The Event Organizer is the merchant of record for ticket sales.
  • Garmon acts solely as an agent and technical intermediary, facilitating ticketing, payment processing, and delivery on behalf of the Event Organizer.

For events taking place in the European Union, Garmon Entertainment, Lda. processes payments and may temporarily hold funds on behalf of the Event Organizer (on_behalf_of) until settlement in accordance with applicable payment regulations and contractual arrangements.

4. Ticket Pricing and Availability

  • Ticket prices (face value) and seating arrangements are determined exclusively by the Event Organizer.
  • Garmon does not control ticket inventory, seating allocation, or availability.
  • Tickets may be offered through multiple sales channels, including online platforms, mobile applications, and venue box offices.
  • Additional tickets may become available at any time prior to the event at the discretion of the Event Organizer.

5. Order Confirmation

Your order is confirmed once you receive an on-screen confirmation and/or a confirmation email (“Order Confirmation”).

If you do not receive an Order Confirmation after completing payment, it is your responsibility to verify the status of your order via your account on the Site. In case of technical issues, you should contact us promptly.

6. Service Fee, VAT, and Taxes

6.1 Service Fee

In addition to the ticket price set by the Event Organizer, Garmon charges a service fee for providing access to the platform, ticketing tools, payment processing, and customer support.

  • The service fee is 10% of the order value or a minimum of EUR 1.00 per transaction, whichever is higher.
  • The service fee is charged per order, regardless of the number of tickets purchased.

6.2 VAT on Service Fee

  • VAT is applied on top of the service fee in accordance with applicable EU and local tax regulations.
  • VAT is not included in the displayed service fee amount and will be shown separately at checkout.
  • The applicable VAT rate is determined based on the place of taxation at the time of purchase.

6.3 Ticket Price and Taxes

  • Any applicable taxes related to the ticket price are determined and borne by the Event Organizer.
  • Garmon collects and remits taxes on the service fee as required by law.

7. Ticket Limits

Certain events may have limits on the number of tickets that can be purchased per person or per account (“Ticket Limits”).

  • Ticket Limits are displayed during the purchase process.
  • Multiple accounts may not be used to circumvent Ticket Limits.
  • Orders exceeding or attempting to exceed Ticket Limits may be canceled.
  • In such cases, canceled tickets may be refunded at face value, excluding service fees and applicable taxes.

8. Canceled, Postponed, Rescheduled, or Relocated Events

Event status changes are determined exclusively by the Event Organizer.

8.1 Canceled Events

If an event is canceled:

  • Refunds are subject to the Event Organizer’s decision and funding.
  • Once funds are received from the Event Organizer, refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at purchase.
  • Service fees and VAT on service fees are refundable only if required by applicable law.

8.2 Postponed, Rescheduled, or Relocated Events

If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or relocated:

  • Tickets generally remain valid for the updated event.
  • Refunds are available only if authorized by the Event Organizer.
  • You will be informed of available options where applicable.

Garmon is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred in connection with event changes.

9. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • Refunds cannot be issued to a different payment method.
  • Price differences resulting from later discounts do not entitle you to a partial refund.
  • Changes to seating layouts or venue configurations do not constitute grounds for a refund.

10. Verification of Account and Billing Information

All account and payment information must be accurate and verifiable.

Orders may be canceled if information provided is false, misleading, incomplete, or cannot be verified. In such cases, tickets may be released for resale without prior notice.

11. Ticket Delivery

Delivery methods vary depending on the event and may include:

  • Mobile tickets
  • Email delivery
  • SMS delivery

Available delivery options will be displayed during checkout.

12. Pricing and System Errors

If a ticket is listed or sold at an incorrect price due to an error, Garmon reserves the right to cancel the affected order and issue a refund of the amount paid.

13. Health and Safety

Attendance at events involves inherent risks, including exposure to communicable illnesses.

Nothing in this Purchase Policy limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by applicable law, including liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence.

14. Event Rules and Admission

Tickets grant a revocable license to attend an event, subject to the Event Organizer’s rules.

  • Admission may be refused or revoked by the Event Organizer in accordance with applicable law and venue policies.
  • Any refusal of entry must be lawful, proportionate, and non-discriminatory.

Tickets have no cash redemption value unless required by law.

15. Recording and Media

Events are public in nature. Recording, photography, or filming may occur for event-related, informational, or promotional purposes, in accordance with applicable data protection and personality rights laws.

16. Governing Law

This Purchase Policy is governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence within the European Union.
